GCCC is a great school. A small school that offers lots of opportunities for students to discover their passion and teachers who help students achieve their goals. My child has just completed Senior, and we are so happy with her final academic results. If you are looking for a great school, then definitely don't overlook GCCC.

the worst school i have ever attended. All the other reviews pretty much sum it all up : the bullying , the hiring of inexperienced teachers , the lack of preparation for after high school. from what i experienced , the bullying went beyond just between students. iv seen one particular student bully a teacher to the point of tears on numerous occasions , physically hurt people , pick on students of every age and have zero consequences despite the principal countlessly saying “next time they’ll be expelled” because they brought up their academic averages and payed their fees. this really puts into perspective what the principal really prioritised. majority of the teachers were good , but the issue is still within the teachings themselves. grade 12 at this school was the same academic learning of grade 9 or 10 at any other school. when i attended university after high school , i had to teach myself how to properly do research and reference , of which every other student were already taught.

I was a student at this school and there is clear favouritism that the principle shows, the school cares too much about the image of the school instead of helping the mental, educational and emotional well-being of students, the school has been too involved in personal non school related issues and have punished me for it, would not recommend however some of the teachers are genuinely good.

Personally i love it, but I've been reading the comments and i find that some people say the hate it and the bullying is bad, and i think that it depends who your class is and how it is handled. I much prefer high school than the lower primary because in upper primary they had a program which i hated, it didn't teach me anything in year 6 and 5, so i had lots of trouble catching up in year 7 I eventually caught up in math. The uniform is also very enforced but it's not that bad, I'm not judging people that have had bad times here, and this is just my opinion, anyone who is reading just know its up to who you are and what class you are in if you want to determine if you would come here.

This school was as far from professional that it comes. In retrospect, it gave me no tools to be a person of diversity. It had no option to explore who you really were, you were backed into a corner to assimilate into a religion you barely understood as a child. Almost all the teachers were poorly managed and did not encourage further exploration of abstract thinking. As I moved into university in 2015, I did not know how to properly reference and my research skills were below average. If you have a child that has a personality that is drawn to the unknown and asks the hard questions, this is NOT the school for them. As I’ve gotten older and experienced more, the more I was propelled to write this review, as my experience was extremely suppressive. Children have the world at their feet, to be in an environment that does not encourage freedom of thought and uphold adequate academic standards, the disadvantages will be felt long after school is over.

Unfortunately I had to remove my daughter from this school after barely one term due to her receiving next to no support to assimilate into her new school and being constantly bullied by other students in the class. The bullying also leaked into her home life via social media. When approaching the school about these issues, the only option they had to help my daughter was to bring in a psychiatrist to assist at my own cost. No mention of stopping the bullying behaviour or supporting my daughter to actually learn. Our family truly tried to give this school a chance despite some negative reviews. Sadly, their face to face persona when enrolling your child is totally different to that which they receive once attending the school. We just could not watch our daughter go through the same thing every day any longer. And their anti bullying strategies are non-existent. In thoroughly do not recommend this school to any family that wants a quality education for their child.
