Low on staff and as a result children leaving this childcare on a regular basis shows the actual ratings. So funny to see most of the positive comments are from the staff, which shows where the ratings(actual) stand. Instead of depending on the comments by the staff, it would be better if they actually work to improve the ratings (by improving their work) rather than depending on the reviews.

My daughter has been been attending the centre for about 18 months. The facility is modern and clean with a great outdoor area. I've found the majority of educators to be great. I think my daughter likes them more than me! She loves the food and always eats so much. I wish we could get dinner take away. Management are quick to respond to any of my queries and have addressed any of my concerns or issues promptly. Sometimes there is no or little updates on the KK app regarding my childs activity but I guess that's because the educator's are occupied actually attending to the children on the more busy days. Overall we are happy with the centre.
I started my son’s day care and from very first day the educators will not come near to my child to make their face known. The Honeybee incharge always asked me to stay for some time and calm him before leaving, like I have no work to do. The incharge always told me during Orientation that if my son will settle down only then she will take him. She hardly tried to get near to my son during orientation. Incharge was always insisting us on leaving my child for only couple of hours and still charge us for whole day. I felt like the educators had no professionalism, especially the so called incharge. 5 Stars to Purvi and Sheenal, who are doing good jobs. They are professional and good to kids. However, The incharge doesn’t get bothered if a child is crying, don’t try to comfort the child, doesn’t get bothered if a child has removed jacket in such freezing weather. I am so glad that I gave notice on very first day that I am discontinuing by making excuse.
Hey, I heard from one of your staff that they are made to work 4-5 days a week, but they are only paid the Job Keeper of 1500 a fortnight. Is this true? They are not paid for working extra?
A beautiful, established childcare. Loved that they have high tech facilities and FB-like app where you can see snippets of your child's activity per day. All the educators were absolutely a delight, special thanks to Carolina. I felt that all educators and Shveta (director) have loved and cared for my son, they always try to play and make my son laugh as much as possible. The only reason we left the childcare was due to poor management. They made a decision to suddenly reduce my son's scheduled days from 5 days a week (full time) to 3 days a week because of Covid-19. I was given less than 3 working days notice in writing. To top it off, they didn't even call me, so by the time I opened the email, I had 2 days to quickly look for another childcare to care for my son on the 2 days they can't care for him. Once I found another childcare, the nominated supervisor was quick to retract the decision they made. This event was not acceptable and for them to not give you at least 2 weeks notice is greatly unprofessional. To top it off, they didn't see any wrong doing from their end and the head office management and some of the educators apologised to me instead of the management. The nominated supervisor was an absolute pain to deal with. I was greatly disappointed at the lack of common sense and professionalism I was shown at times. I.e. the beginning of my son's enrolment, I was promised for the whole week that someone will be able to register my fingerprint, 5 times it was promised, 4 times it failed. In summary, the childcare is a great place for children but it could be a nightmare for you, if you are the one managing your child's enrolment and not your spouse as extreme unprofessionalism could be encountered.
Not enough support for children.
I strongly recommend Kool Kidz Ravenhall to anyone looking for care. The Educators are an amazing team. All Educators have contributed to ensuring quality care for all children . There is so much for the children to do from French classes, little sports hero’s, library, cooking classes, S.T.E.M program and so much more. I’ve never been to a childcare that has so much to offer for the children to experience! The management team are beyond amazing and so professional.
My son has been at Kool Kidz Ravenhall for a few months now. Being a 1st time mum I was nervous leaving him and visited a lot of child care places in our local area. As soon as I walked into Kool Kidz Ravenhall I felt at ease. The orientation process was hard as he was going through a clinging stage but all the staff were really supportive and encouraging. The facilities are amazing and the variety of toys available for various forms of play is outstanding. The educators in his room are engaging and attend to his needs as required. The on-site chef bakes cakes for the kids birthday and my son seems to enjoy the food there than at home. (hopefully it's not because mum is a bad cook). All the staff greet us as we arrive and it's a welcoming environment. If you are looking for quality daycare, look no further.
