Avoid at all costs. Can't provide no stars unfortunately. [name removed] is a fraud, can't build a home to save his life. Major damage in my home after moving in. Has refused to acknowledge damage and has made so many false promises. The man is a liar, claims to be a humanitarian and born again christian but really is only an oxygen thief. Don't waste your time or money with this person as it'll be the biggest regret you've ever made. Please reach out if you've similar issues or problems with this builder as I'm taking legal action and it would help to hear your stories/compare. [email protected]

Wish I could give them no stars but unfortunately cannot. Biggest scammers!!! They built our first home just recently, there are so many faults, we have tried calling them multiple times and even emailed but no response, and it has been more then 3 months now. Recently we received email informing us to contact some other guy who we have never heard of or spoken to, who then told us to get another builder to complete their unfinished work. But on top of this, when we call actual buider Alfred Constructions their phone has been disconnected and so is the apparent so called " site supervisor" phone number. But to place the cherry on top now they have changed company names as we have learnt they've gone bankrupt!!! They are also known by LBD construction( which is where we went to initially, but did not think of it too much then) as we thought might be same entity. Yup so do not build with these guys, if you do you will regret!!! As when they sucked out enough money (mind you!!! Hard work we do to save that money and then to pay them at every stage) on a binding contract/agreement, they declare bankruptcy and hide!!!what about us, what happens to the binding agreement they place in a contract to build????
Watched on 7 News about Alfred Construction. I feel really sad for those two families who made deposits to these people.
Please take your time to read if you ever want to save your money energy and time. I have never came across such a worst and unprofessional builder ever. I would not even recommend 1 star for them. They dont even deserve that. I will list out the issues that I had to deal with them 1) They dont read your contract and make mistakes after mistakes. If you tell them that they have made a mistake to your contract they will put the blame on you and will never reply to your emails. Even if they do reply to your email they dont apologize and will just say we will pay you the variation rather than trying to rectify the issue. always looking for easy way out. Mind you the way the admin staff reply to the email can be very very RUDE and BELITTLING. 2) Very unprofessional - from the builder , admin staff and site supervisor. Only person I had no issue with was the account lady. She is so professional and promt to reply to your emails. Site supervisor will promise you things verbally but when it comes in writing it will be totally a different story. Site supervisor did paint touch up and dont even know the difference between oil paint and normal paint. 3) They will promise you the moon and earth but will never deliver what they promise. 4) When i moved in i found so many defect and they wont even bother to reply to your email when you raise your concern. There are many more that I can point out. I have been through alot of stress because of them and also lost money due to their incompetency work. Please have everything in writing as they will twist and change their word. Do not take any verbal agreement as that will put you more distress. I have left my issues for VBA to deal with them as they will never want to acknowledge your concern

Absolutely disgusted with the work ethic and morals of this company, have had ongoing issues with them. I would never recommend anyone to go with this company, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
Lazy, incompetent with zero interest in anything other than scamming people out of money.
