My family and I loves it. Great customer service. Nice environment for everyone. Plenty of options for movies. Best price too.

Nice like Victorian built cinemas atmosphere & couple of minutes walk to Randwick Train Station and other transports, main shoppings, restaurants & coffee shops, medical centre and all that...friendly staff & bar highly recommended

Fantastic local cinema. Has changed ownership several times since our first attendance (yes, we've been coming here that long, lol). You have the option of being a Ritz Royalty member which shaves off several dollars on tickets prices plus cheap Tuesday / senior / student prices. Best popcorn of any movie theatre in the city area (stated by someone who attends numerous film festivals all over town). Comfortable, clean seating. Can count the rude employees encountered in over 20 years on one hand (excellent sign of consistent good quality service). They have a bar upstairs for those of you would like something of the alcholic persuasion and the good news is that unlike other cinemas in Sydney, I have never experienced a drunk patron talking through the movies. I would say for the most part the most courteous movie going experience in the city (though on occasion you run into a rude local but again, you can count said experiences on one hand). Clean bathrooms - always welcome at a movie theatre where the line can be long after a 2 hour film! Really happy to see them housing more film festivals the last few years as well as more director retrospectives and they also consistently house special events like Q&A's with directors. Love the Ritz - highly recommended.

Nice old style cinema with good vibe and nice restaurants around. Fun fact, did u know Quentin Tarantino has been there :D (ground floor toilet) Hope he was not there just for a piss!

I went to the Ritz on the first week when the cinemas reopened and I’ve been back many times since. The staff are exemplary and the retrospective screenings are terrific—I hope they continue this even after the pandemic. I also appreciate the varied programming which includes foreign films and indie gems. This is not my local but the tram ride to Randwick is well worth the trip!

Classic cinema with a variety of films on offer including frequent screenings of retro films. The main theatre with its balcony and original art deco furnishings is also an amazing sight. There's also a decent bar there with a balcony overlooking the street.

The Ritz is unique, although it is an old cinema with a eclectic sense of history and age, it really stands out for cinema experiences. I have sat on ground level and mezzanine level both times I enjoyed the movies respectively, I would recommend sitting on ground floor you feel more up close and looking upwards onto a big screen feels more appropriate in a cinema. Beverages and snacks are pricey but you’d expect that at any cinema. Parking can also be scarce. I would recommend going especially to see a cult classic, older cinema, old movie just feels appropriate.

The Ritz Cinema in Randwick is situated in a beautiful art deco building. Inside the art deco theme continues and the cinema itself is lovely and spacious. The visuals and acoustics are amazing. Highly recommended.
