I will begin with saying if it was not for Dr Shannon Thomas, my mother would have had her right leg amputated due to 'peripheral vascular disease'. We are very lucky to have found Dr Thomas who specializes in small vessel angioplasty. He took the time to patiently listen, explain and answer the MANY questions we had. I cannot thank Dr Thomas enough for helping us after we were advised by separate vascular specialists, we had limited to no options besides amputation avaliable. He and his secretary Gaye are very welcoming and incredibly willing to help. I unreservedly recommend Dr Shannon Thomas and his team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital to any patient seeking treatment. Thank you

Dr Shannon is a great easy going guy, he explained the procedure perfectly. I was most comfortable and confident going into surgery. My legs feel great and I have no issues. Gaye, doctor Shannon's assistant was fantastic and most supportive. She books your post-op scans and keeps you on track, making the whole process seamless. You guys are an awesome team. Thank you!!
I have just had my veins operated on, April 2019 by Dr Thomas, have never had such a PAIN FREE recuperation from an operation. The end results are that my legs look as good as they did 40 yrs ago NO MORE PAIN and NO UGLY veins. Thank you again Dr Thomas.
Dr Shannon Thomas, and his receptionist Gaye, have been absolutely wonderful. Dr Thomas was patient when answering my (many) questions and down to earth and matter of fact about my treatment options. He booked me in for surgery within two weeks of our initial consultation and my time in hospital was stress free. The post surgery care I received exceeded expectations. When I had some post surgical swelling I was booked in for an ultrasound on the same day. When I needed a consultation while Dr Thomas was out of town, Gaye went above and beyond to ensure that I was quickly seen by another vascular surgeon. My post op scans and appointments have been taken care of efficiently and painlessly, and I feel confident about the advice I have received regarding future treatment, if it becomes necessary. I can not recommend Dr Thomas enough. Thank you for making a difficult experience so much easier to cope with!

After undergoing a multitude of vascular surgeries I was eventually referred to Dr Thomas for consultation and treatment. The service provided to me by Dr Thomas and his team both pre and post operative was refreshing, personal and caring, coupled with an excellent outcome.
