Head chef Yoshi, with an experience of more than 20 years as a French specialist; including his career at the Heston Blumenthal (Melbourne) and the award-winning Shoya restaurant (Melbourne) finally formed a “tour de force” restaurant here in Sydney.
His remarkable sense followed by a strong passion lead to the creation of a unique piece of art. We are proud to present the one and only French-influenced Japanese diner, Tokyo Bistro.

The cutest Japanese French fusion restaurant I know! Hidden away in the quiet backstreets of pyrmont, this one is a secret gem. Beautiful atmosphere, kind staff and very hospitable. I loved the gyoza, the duck, wagyu beef and the prawn toast was a treat! Stunning fishes and good quality, I love the French fusion in their dishes and adored the decor. Would definitely return, perfect for date night or even a dinner with colleagues. Theres a certain sophisticated vibe about this venue.

Japanese and French fusion! A hidden gem in Prymont serving up Japanese good with French techniques, talk about fine dining dishes but at a good price. I need to go back and try other dishes but the must order is the "Beef ribs", beef tataki in a cone, fried chicken and gyoza! Loving the concept but I really need to go back and try their steaks, Japanese beef but cook in a French style. #tokyobistro #tokyobistrosydney #asianfoodninja @asianfoodninja

In my opinion this is the best hidden gem that Sydney has to offer for food. Perfect spot for a date or a special occasion as well. Food is excellent and the attention to detail shows. I felt like I was getting Michelin star quality and service for a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going again.

That was one of the best lunch I've had for less than 20. Teriyaki salmon with sides. Definitely will be back there for lunch when I work in the area again.

What a wonderful place! Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience at Tokyo Bistro - the food was excellent, so tasty, full of flavors with an artistic presentation! Yoshi, the owner and the executive chef took great care of us, explaining the dishes and chatting to is. He's an extremely friendly person who takes care of his guests. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking to have a great dinner experience.
