Really enjoyed this display. Very informative and you can take your time reading everything or watching the film. Highly recommended for locals, new residents or visitors to the area.

A great place to learn the history of Portland and the whaling era of yester year... With shark info and the skeleton of a juvenile whale that washed up on shore years before... Bought souvenirs also...located near the piers and the bay it was a great place!

Great place to look at the past, not to big but has all you need to know about old Portland, as far as souvenirs small collection maybe some Portland t/shirts etc would be good and I forgot to mention that they also have a cafe for meals or a cuppa well worth a visit
