Up here on holiday and leaving tomorrow. Last stop for dinner tonight. Tried every pub in town and this is the best. Venue beautiful. Only thing we don't understand and it must be a nsw thing. No one greats you and seats you at any pub. Hard to find your table when you book. You loose a star for this and this alone. Hospitality and you can do a whole dinner without talking to anyone.

Just relocated to Port and it was My first time out for dinner and it was amazing. The best part was the off the menu Margarita made by Charlie, exceptional. Would highly recommend and return.
The bottle shop at Tacking Point Tavern is seriously the best. I was blown away by the huge variety of products stocked in there. We ended up making about three separate purchases as we kept seeing more good things to get. Including the magnum of Rose on the way out the door! Definitely going to be my bottle shop of choice every time I'm in Port.
a great place for lunch and dinner... bar service needs a bit more attention... otherwise it would have been 5 star...
The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait. The steak was perfectly cooked! And the veggies were fresh. The size of the meals was satisfying. The space was comfortable, and the service was friendly. Would eat here again.
