Nice regional airport. A little confusing as to how to return car rental keys, arrivals is sectioned off from departure due to Covid, but airport staff were helpful. Expect temp check and screening on arrival.

Security was over the top,seems like the rules for aerosols are different in Sydney to Port Macquarie as had mine taken off me at Port Mac,also they were using a full body scan machine which was slow,not a smooth transit

Renovated and very clean. Parking adjacent to the terminal with 30 mins free parking. Fast efficient service. The airport is also very clean with excellent check in facilities for Qantas and Virgin who fly to Sydney and Brisbane.

Our flight got cancelled and we had to wait until the next day and they didn't even open the cafe or have any vending machines
