Great space to try small boutique wineries that may not be available at your local bottle shop. The food platters were amazing and the choice of wines excellent.

So many options to enjoy. Food wine and wonderful service. Loved the attention.
Loved the tasting experience (grazing platter for lunch was great), the wines were absolutely fantastic. Loved the building and classy but relaxed atmosphere. Would come back in no time.
A very pleasant experience doing a wine tasting complemented by a grazing board. We visited on a warm, sunny day, and it was lovely sitting outside. The place is very quiet, and while not the prettiest location in the Hunter, it feels like a million miles away from everything, which was exactly what we needed. They seem to have a solid selection of local wines. We ordered 2 wine flights of 4 wines each - red and white, with tasting notes. It was a fun experience, although the wines we tried weren’t that extraordinary. The mezze gazing board looked good and had some delicious nibbles to go with the wine. Their website claims the boards are sufficient as lunch for most people - I wouldn’t recommend skipping lunch if a grazing board is all you’re relying on. The lady who served us was very friendly and happy to accommodate. Overall, a very chilled experience, suitable for those times when you just need to escape the crowds.
A special visit when you get the right person that understands what you like and let's you have your own thoughts about the wine. Plus a few hints. A nice way to complete the day!
We visited based on a friend's recommendation however our experience at Wine House was just fine. There's a 10 tasting fee (which doesn't come off any purchases) which is ok but when you start charging, you begin to have expectations. The whole vibe lacked a bit of warmth and we didn't feel overly welcome as we walked in. A couple of nice little wineries selling wines here so support them and move along. Edit - When we were there we were the only people in the cellar door. Two other ladies walked in while we were finishing up. A shame we didn't get regular cellar door staff though. Experience may have been different.
It's fine. Supports the local smaller wine growers. Pay your 10 and get a tasting then move on.
A great wine tasting experience. Neil had a really good knowledge of all his wines and was very accomodating given we had only started drinking wine. It was awesome to be able to compare the same wine variety made by different winemakers - can't do that anywhere else in Hunter! A must visit.
