To gussy her up I had decided to have the chromed bronze parts of my 1947 Halvorsen re-chromed. Pioneer Plating had been recommended by another Halvorsen owner. I was warned they were busy and there was a long lead time, which suited me. Tony is the nicest guy you could ever meet. When I delivered the parts and showed him the before photo (attached) his eye fell first on some wood panelling alongside. What followed was a long discussion of the pleasure of restoration and I sensed his passion for this kind of work. His team kept working through the pandemic. They cleaned, stripped and polished the pieces so there is no reason to do that yourself and it took the four months I had been quoted. It was worth the wait. The pieces came back transformed. Gorgeous. Some of the larger pieces were not perfect so Tony kept them, repeated the process and shipped them back to me a couple of weeks later. Tony, thank you and your team for great workmanship, outstanding service and great value. Highly recommended.

Exceptionally happy with the work performed by the team at Pioneer. Communication was excellent with very fast postage. Been repairing chrome work for 55 years, the results here are the best I've ever had.
