Flew into Brisbane to then go to Tangalooma for a few days. Got into Brisbane early and made our way to the ferry terminal which is only 15 minutes away by taxi. We were there 2 hours before departure and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only disappointment was that there was only a soft drink vending machine on site. If I'd known would have had a coffee and something to eat at the airport before going to the ferry terminal.

Interesting ferry ride up the Brisbane River and past the oil refinery across the bay, which was as smooth as a millpond, to an amazing 'tropical' paradise. Wonderful beach, excellent food at one of the many eateries. Eco Centre was very interesting and well worth a visit. A fantastic day out on Brisbane's doorstep. Highly recommended.

Nice fast service to and from the island. That is all the good news. The waiting area on the mainland is tired using old plastic chairs some in shade some not. The parking area is poorly maintained just long grass and no marked sites. This means sometimes p tark and take 2 or 3 spaces. The boats themselves are a bit aging and badly in need of overhaul. The seating upholstery is torn. One of the 2 toilets on board on the day of our visit was out of order. Very tired boats and waiting area. They need to spend some money. I spoke with several passengers. All were disillusioned about the service.

Lovely staff and friendly service. Very clean/tidy! Beautiful outdoor seating area on the grass and reasonably priced parking. We paid 45 for 3 days away.

The terminal is in need of attention. There is clutter everywhere, there isn't enough seating undercover and limited to no options for food or drinks. Staff were amazing and welcoming which is always a great way to start a holiday.

Terminal is maintain to a high standard. It's easy to find and easier to use. Quite a good location to take photos from towards the island.

His place was absolutely wonderful you can go there with a family and have plenty of activities to do The weather was mostly good very enjoyable time
