Great zoo. Only a small operation, but well maintained and run. Can get hands on and feed quite a few animals. The zoo keeper talks are great. Definitely recommend the pleasant drive out here and visit. Awesome job Darling Downs Zoo.

Very nice! Family own Zoo, you can expand around 2 to 3 hours. Children loved feeding the animals. Best time to visit is from 10:00am to 1 pm.

Excellent zoo all animals well looked after. Well set out in a big circle. We spent 5 hours here and need all of that to see all the animals. Can hand feed certain ones. My kids loved holding the baby crocodile. Staff are very friendly.

Went here for my Birthday with my Daughter's - what an amazing little zoo!!! I was lucky enough to experience the Giraffe encounter and it is something I will never forget. Such a hidden little gem, with so much to offer - well worth the drive.

A small but good variety of animals. Interesting information on all the enclosures. Friendly, knowledgeable staff member who led the tour.

Absolutely wonderful place. Reminded me of Alma Park Zoo. If I lived closer I'd buy an annual pass and visit lots. They are doing a fantastic job with no government funding. It's not an upmarket zoo to help you get around it's a zoo that puts endangered animals and breeding programs first so be aware that if it's raining you will need shoes you don't mind getting muddy! Highly recommend listening to the talk at feeding times as it's very informative.
