Had a fantastic sunrise balloon ride over Canberra! Everything was arranged beautifully. We arrived at the hotel and were checked in by the balloon staff and given our briefing. We were then driven to the site of the launch. I think it's a great idea that you get watch the entire set up of the balloon. You can 'help' if you want to get involved with a hands-on experience, or you are free to stand back and take photos! It was very clear how everything was going to be run, how to get into the balloon and how to land. The photos taken from the balloon is a fantastic touch. Once in the air the pilot was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out all the sights of Canberra. Landing was beautifully smooth. Once out of the balloon we were allowed to walk inside the balloon itself which I thought was amazing, it gives you a real idea of the size! The staff are so helpful, offering to take pictures of you if you would like one. Again, if you want to be hands on and help with packing up the balloon you can, or if you want to stand back and watch the process you can.There is no expectation of you to help, the morning is yours! I liked the idea of getting involved, as did most of the people on the flight we were on, it was all part of the experience for us! I teach scuba, and it is much the same, gear washing is all part of the experience and education. Once packed we were given a glass of champagne or fizzy apple/ fruit juice and some chocolates. With the champagne we were also told the reason behind the drink, and it's tradition! We were then driven back to the hotel to pick up our own vehicles. All the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable; big shout out to Kim, Russell, Neil and Alex!

Wake up with the Amazing views for 30-45 mins, Take off with the sunrise in a hot air balloon and drift gently with the wind, CSU Alumni 2014 offer a package that comes with breakfast in Hyatt Hotel.. A unique experience, had a great fun!

This was our first ever hot air ballon trip, absolutely amazing experience!! The staff were so fun and friendly, offered to take photos and tried to make our experience the best as possible! They even let us go inside the balloon as it was deflating We flew for an hour, pictures and champagne/juice are included! Definitely worth the price! Weather was great, I would definitely go again with these guys!
