We went for the sunrise in the middle of summer. The photos don't do it justice. Locals recommended this spot as being the best to see the sunrise. We arrived about 20 mins before the sunrise. There are seated areas however the best views are from standing position where these photos are taken. During peek season, it may be worth arriving early to make sure you can enjoy the full sunrise. The pathway from the carpark to the viewing area (platform) is obvious. It was mostly silent when we were there and a beautiful experience. Immediately after, we walked the Valley of the Winds.

Absolutely a "must do", color playing of the nature, good stop for a fantastic view of the Kata-Tjuta and Uluru
Great spot to see Katea Tjua.. Lots of cover for shade and interesting information about the plants. Great views.
Good viewing platform, but a bit distant from the mountains, unlike Uluru
lacking in seats but a good viewing area.
Beautiful scenery for an overcast morning but breathtaking all the same
I was surprised how different this was to Uluru, different formations and colours , but it was the textures, that got me!!
