We had a long-running contract dispute with a third party that lasted nearly a decade. We were firm in our belief the third party was in breach due to unconscionable conduct. Dispute resolution processes were followed with various regulatory bodies to no avail. Legal action continued. A couple of years back we went to a lawyer who stated “you should have come and seen me earlier I cannot help you”. I was dismayed knowing in our heart we were the aggrieved party. I was then put in touch with Mr Jason De Silva. From our first meeting Jason was straight onto it, we sat down, and using his whiteboard we unravelled the web and began planning likely scenarios. Then of course the contract documents came out and Jason immediately highlighted an area in the contract which the third party could not ignore. This proved to be a major turning point. After years of turmoil there was light at the end of the tunnel. Over the ensuing months a successful outcome was finally reached. At every stage Murfett Legal had my back and I wholeheartedly recommend the team to anyone with complex challenges.
