Latest advertising states "Book with confidence". I booked Jan 2020 for Sep 2020 holiday package including Cunard cruise and paid deposit. Obviously cancelled due to Covid. The terms and conditions of our contract stated that we were entitled to a refund. It took over 12 months and we eventually had to make a claim on our bank against the credit card payment. The bank honored our claim and refunded the money. Imaging Cruising communication poor, they did everything possible to keep the money. If not for the bank we would still be waiting. DO NOT book with them they do not honor their contracts in my experience.

We booked train travel with this company and despite advertising the names of luxury hotels in Italy we were to stay in they then stated they wouldn't know where we were staying until 3 weeks before departure. They also assured us that despite Milan airport and the Lombardy region being in lockdown with Covid-19 the trip due to go ahead in 3 weeks time was still proceeding, they then cancelled the trip 2 days before departure. Awful company to deal with, terrible communication and extremely unhelpful. Customer service is non-existent. We're now stuck with a voucher that has to be booked in 2020 as they refuse refunds. We really don't want to go anywhere with this mob as they'll probably stuff it up but we've already wasted too much money on this fiasco. Our travelling companions are still waiting for a call back 6 weeks after our scheduled departure, probably because they asked for a refund.
We recently arrived home after a tour through South Africa & could not fault any part of the trip. The accommodation was 5 star, the staff over there were great, only hiccup was no information at our 1st hotel re pickups the next day, but was sorted before bed. Holdups on the Rovos train didnt impact our trip at all & was nobodies fault. Wouldnt hesitate to book through Imagine Cruising again.
We leave in 6 days travelling to Norway on a Hurtigruten cruise in a party of 4. We have been allocated a cabin that is way less than what we paid for even though we booked and paid full price 18 months ago, and now find out this cabin that we were originally promised was never available.We are now getting a complete run around from this shonky Company. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE. NEXT STOP ACCC AND MEDIA TO WARN OTHERS.
Be very aware of this company!! There is a marked difference of responsibility between a 'travel agent' and a 'tour operator'. Do not agree to anything about a proposed trip when talking to a rep. over the phone. Do not say,'yes' to any suggestion by any rep. over the phone. You must get any documentation sent to you before you agree to anything or part with any deposit so that you can take your time and read their T&Cs. You will end up with a cost figure with no breakdown of how that final figure was arrived at. It could be any exorbitant random number. Believe me...I have been there! As stated by the Customer Support Manager, 'we are a tour operator and therefore we do not require(sic) to provide a breakdown of costings'. How bizarre is that for company policy! Read the response below..they just don't get it.
Be very careful of this company, they will rip you off with their 'exclusive deals' that are actually thousands more expensive than other travel agencies and they scam elderly people into paying massive deposits on their intital phone conversation, any changes after that - good luck! No refunds either. Steer clear.
Phone staff are very pleasant BUT be very careful with your booking with this mob. CHECK single element of their deal to make sure everything and every option is what you want. DON'T pay anything until you are quite clear about what is included and what is not. If you want to make a later change you'll get gouged 500 so be quite careful.
