First time skier, I am probably the worst skier on this planet but my coach was so enthusiastic and confident I could do it, The coaches are so nice and they teach you so much! I loved coming here

First time snowboarder and booked a 2hr lesson and hired all the gear. Great time. The staff were all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was fantastic as was the views. The instructors were all great and gave plenty of time to all us learners. I even managed to chairlift it to the top and board down the mountain ( 2 falls) so hats of to instructors.

I was getting to the make or break of learning to ski. I just couldn’t grasp the next part of mastering and enjoying skiing. I am 54 and had only had very short periods of time skiing since I started - but I am finally ready to learn to parallel ski but it just wasn’t coming together. I had a private lesson for two hrs with Sandy on the June 2019 long weekend- she is a mature lady like myself and it’s made all the difference- Sandy started with the basics of my boots being set right, my stance and then moved into explaining what I needed to achieve to parallel. She found a great way to communicate and show me how to do the right things - it’s so simple now - all the struggle has gone and I’m enjoying skiing more than ever. I look forward to practicing these simple things and having it all come together in the next few weeks - so I can ski anywhere. Thanks so much Sandy

Lessons are quite pricey, especially during the middle of the season. For best value lessons, the blue cow 2 hour privates from 1.30-3.30 are the best value. Group lessons are way too expensive considering how many people they cram into them. The group lessons also lack focus and you don't end up learning much. Certain instructors are great, others can be quite rude and disinterested.

As an "intermediate" skier I had a great 2hr group lesson, with our instructor regularly stopping to give us tips and drills to improve our skiing. Now I feel like I know what I'm doing! I did make a mistake and lose my group for a while, so I recommend remembering your instructor's name at the start and keeping close. Recommended!
