IGA Penneshaw Kangaroo Island (KI) is a cozy little grocery store that have an old school charm architecture. With impressive store layout with fabulous stock, that is at par with other groceries stores in mainland South Australia (SA). Majority of the goods is competitive pricing with other major supermarket, while some is just a few dollars more; which is totally understandable due to the location. For future SA, interstate and overseas tourist do come and visit the magnificent Kangaroo Island, help the local community by buying "local"; and IGA is known for sourcing and supporting local produce and community.

A good IGA with friendly staff and everything you'd need from an IGA, including some local products.

Good sized supermarket providing all the essential grocery items. The fresh produce area is fairly small and the fresh bread selection is sold out in the evenings, otherwise a good range of local produce, such as KI honey or sauces and condiments. This place is open late, even on the weekends - a welcome change to the otherwise archaic South Australian store opening policies.
