It was a pleasure to use Allied Removalists again. I had confidence in the guys doing the work and they did an excellent job. They were pleasant and got down to work. They were very careful and there was no damage. They even tended to my specific requests of where to move and place the furniture. I would highly recommend Allied.

Moved from a large 3 bedroom apartment in Sydney to N Queensland on 16 Dec 2019 Damage to front door of the property as well as to several pieces of furniture, toaster was dented due to not being packed properly. There was more paper surrounding our plastic ware. They sent just 1 packer for a big job and never responded to me when I expressed my concerns that we needed at least another person. Ended up having multiple others come and go during the day, which lead to inconsistency with the packing, poor packing, boxes not marked at all and many just marked as "misc". One of the packers ate an apple and then wrapped up the apple core & put it inside one of our boxes, which was nasty mouldy surprise we found whilst unpacking (photo attached). No customer service whatsoever from the Branch Manager, Stacey - phone calls and emails have gone completely unanswered. Damage that we were told was going to be reported back to the office never was. Both the upload and delivery were made on time (actually earlier than expected with no phone calls en route as we were told we would get). Elizabeth Brown, the Internal Sales Domestic Coordinator, was lovely to work with & was responsive & helpful from the beginning but no response, apology or any kind of resolution whatsoever from Stacey, the Branch Manager or from our Moving Consultant, Tilly. Truly astounding & appalling such a lack of customer care! Do not use them!

Allied Pickfords is a fantastic company to deal with. Everyone was friendly and super helpful, and the removals team was careful and efficient with everything arriving intact and well cared for. They made the process of moving stress-free for our family.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid these negligent and careless movers. We contracted Allied after being assured of their experience and professionalism, and we were sorely let-down. We had them move us from Sydney to Queensland last year (Nov 2019) at a cost of around 12,000. Half of the guys loading cared, the other half couldn't care less. On reaching the destination, we found that a 60 inch TV (which we assured would be packed in a TV crate) was completely smashed due to be packed in only a layer of bubblewrap (see photo). Our Webber BBQ was bent, broken and twisted from being packed poorly. My Piano was suffered deep scratches and had white paint sprayed on it from somewhere. I had around a dozen custom-made perspex display cases, 5 of which were cracked and now require replacing. I chose not to go with Allied insurance as it was extremely expensive. Strongly suggest you go with an insurer such as CARTS removal insurance (along with a different removalist). After expressing my frustration over the phone at the poor job his company provided, Stacey Hipwell (male), the operations manager, contacted me and (eventually) offered me an ex-gratia payment of 500 for about what turned out to be around 6300 damage. Being ex-gratia, I took that payment to be as a 'sorry' for being, perhaps, so bad at what they do as well as going towards paying the excess for my insurance claim with CARTS. Fast-forward 4 months, and a dozen unreturned phone calls and emails, I eventually got hold of Stacey who rescinded his offer of 500 citing the fact that i was pursuing insurance for the other 5,800 he was not willing to cover despite Allied's clear negligence. For anyone who does not want to deal with negligent removalists or managers who are not true to their word, then again, do not let anyone from Allied touch your property. You will regret it and be very angry... even months later. I should have listened to friends who had also had bad experiences with Allied.
The packers from Allied seemed to be very good and efficient, also very pleasant. I can only review on the packing side from what I saw because the delivery will only take place in a month’s time. Everything will be stored by Allied until then. The movers, too, were amazing. Just really good guys. So hard working and so pleasant. Can leave a fuller review at the end of November.
The team that loaded my goods were very good, competent, courteous and helpful. The team that unloaded were pretty unfriendly, unhelpful, didn't reassemble everything and were very unconcerned about damaged and lost items.
Excellent service - removals team were on time, courteous and took great care of our belongings. Nothing too much trouble with Allied Pickfords - from the quoting, order placement, delivery confirmation then the move - brilliant. Highly recommended.
