Really enjoyed the food: flavours I am not at all familiar with, but ones that I instantly loved! We ordered the shared plates with the soft slightly sour bread: excellent!

Great food (especially the coconut chicken), great service (waiter was superb) and very family friendly vibes. Definitely would come back to try more dishes. The wait for food was a bit long but I was happy to do it because it means everything was made fresh. Also no corkage!

Delicious food at an excellent price. Nice variety of dishes, good service, and not noisy. Didn’t have to wait too long for food to come either. If this place were closer to the city I would eat here everyday!

Recommended by a friend as one of his favourite restaurants, and after eating there ourselves last night I now see why he likes it so much. Very tasty food at incredibly good prices, and friendly staff, who make you feel very welcome. They seemed a little understaffed, but for a Sunday night and a small family run business, they still did a great job of making sure we had enough service to ensure a pleasant night out, and at these prices there’s nothing to complain about. Very glad we went and now very keen to go back and try some of the other meals that looked equally amazing. Give them a go, you won’t regret it.

Joke. The food tasted poor. Spicy rice felt like the spices was just add to the mix without cooking it. The beef and lentils was clearly reheated. Wish they had made things fresh. Worst they made fun of thai and indian food on their menu. I would love to see them make some changes to the quality of the food. The guy at the front was so happy and pleasant. Yes I have tried genuine Ethiopian food made at homes.

Great local restaurant. Very warm and friendly service. We had a big shared plate and it was delicious.

Although the owners changed (which I find out later) the quality of the food and the service didn't. We were in 5 ppl, ordered a banquet, and there was not even a dish we didn't appreciate. The servings at the beginning might look a bit less than you would like but in the end you realise you won't be able to have it all. The bread is light and slightly sour, goes very well with the "curry-ish" dishes. BYO right besides a bottle shop, although that was the low point of the bargain, tbh... The number of wine options were disappointing... But surely we managed to find safe options not to compromise the experience, and surely the restaurant has no saying on that. Pleasant experience. We'll be back. And we'll bring the wine from home.

I’ve been lucky enough to get to travel to Ethiopia a few years back and this is the best most authentic Ethiopian food I’ve had since! Super friendly and relaxed staff and all the dishes were familiar from food I’d tried while I was traveling. As they say in the classics, this place is too legit to quit!! ;)
