Helen English is hands down the designer to see if you are after beautiful quality and a perfect fit for your wedding dress. She uses the most beautiful silks and the whole process of creating my custom gown was really stress free and enjoyable. (I honestly miss going to fittings!) Helen was recommended to me by two friends who are also Helen English brides. They knew that I wanted something really contemporary and suggested Helen - who was just the perfect choice. Helen is really modern in her approach and has incredible style - and I can't recommend her enough!

What an absolute delight it was dealing with Helen English. I approached Helen just under 4 weeks out of my wedding after a terrible experience with another designer, she was so understanding and without hesitation fit me into weekly appointments and designed the most perfect wedding dress for me. I loved my dress, elegant and timeless using the most beautiful silk. Helen is effortlessly authentic and her gorgeous Parisian boutique always had the scent of oriental lilies wafting through.
Helen English was the most beautiful experience from start to finish. I went with my sister and mother and fell in love straight away with the simple and beautiful designs and materials. Helen was always so welcoming and friendly and it was such a wonderful process. To say the dress was perfect was an understatement, I loved it. I don't even know where to begin....from the moment I walked into Helen's studio I knew it was where I was going to buy my dress! Not only is Helen the most incredible woman (literally a GODDESS), but her dresses are the best in the business. I had gone to every bridal store in Sydney but nothing compared to the quality and styles of Helen's label. My mother and I used to always look forward to the dress fittings and catchups with Helen throughout the year. The dress ended up better than I could have ever imagined and I could not recommend Helen more!!!!!
I was absolutely thrilled with my Helen English dress and with the overall experience. Coming into her studio, I already had my eye on the style I wanted - Helen helped me customise it to fit my beachside elopement perfectly. She was also extremely flexible, working with me on a tighter than usual timeline and delivering a perfectly fitted, gorgeous result. Highly recommend!
Helen's wedding dress designs are simply stunning. I found my dress at her gorgeous Paddington boutique on my first day of wedding dress shopping. Helen made the experience so stress-free, offering different designs and fabrics to try, until I found the ONE! Understated yet exquisite! I have had so many compliments on my beautiful dress, I am still so in love with it! Helen made the process so easy, she had the dress and veil made within a 6 month time frame. She was fantastic to communicate with, only ever an email or phone call away. I would definitely recommend Helen to future brides!
My experience with finding the perfect wedding dress was an easy one! As soon as I met with Helen to discuss options it was an exciting and easy task. I absolutely loved my custom designed dress which Helen English created - I loved it more than I ever thought I would! I have since recommended to my girlfriends who are all now Helen English brides too! I only wish I could do it all over again.
