The worst camping site I've been to so far . The floor was too bad , There was a lot of water and it was a mess . The floor was not maintained at all . It was pet friendly, but the dogs run around without a leash. While eating, a big dog came to our table many times and was scared. There was a wedding at Lakeside on Saturday and it was sooooooooooo very big loud. I thought it would be over at 9pm (there are starting before sunset ) , but the loud music went off at 11pm, but it was really loud until 4:32am. At 3 o'clock in the morning, 4 o'clock in the morning, I heard all the laughs, chatters, and swearing noises. The best view in the camping ground is the party venue, and the view is not visible from the tent or cabin. No view in front of the tent. The stars pouring out of the sky were so pretty. However, the weekend trip was unsuccessful due to serious noise. The first and last place for me .

Awesome location with easy walking access to the beach and lake. The park is divided by The Lakes Way which is quite a busy road except for approx 12am - 5am. Most sites are quite close to the road, a new fence provides a good visual barrier but when outdoors / tent camping the traffic noise can be a bit much for some. We stayed on the beach side in a tent and the booming sound of the surf overnight was great, but often interrupted by the sound of cars and trucks. We went to bed pretty early though, probably not as much of an issue for heavy / late sleepers or in a cabin / van. All the people we met were friendly and dog owners respectful. We visited during the week when it was reasonably quiet that way and saw it get quite busy on the weekend. Most sites are shaded by trees though ours had the full sun from about 10am - 3pm. The grass area in front of the function room by the lake is the best spot for a picnic during the day: shaded spots on the grassy shore and in the water. On the beach side there are six are self contained bathrooms in the amenity block with a shower, toilet and vanity; reasonably well maintained. The lake side amenities block we saw was dated; shared toilet / shower / basins and apparently in a state of refurbishment. The pool area has been recently updated with a new lake side entrance and paving, though the water was a bit green. All of this was secondary to the outdoor environment: the lake and beach were thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family, including our pupper. Sunrise at the beach and sunset by the lake. We also did a couple of day trips sightseeing; south to Sandbar and Smiths Lake, and north to Diamond Beach.

We had a great time during our stay at Tiona Holiday Park. We booked for a weekend getaway to explore the area and the facilities were above expectations. We booked the lodge accomodation for 2 (private room for 2 with shared toilets and kitchen) and it was perfect and comfortable. Common areas were clean and the pool was amazing. We would definitely go back and recommend to everyone. Beautiful sunset by the lake.

Fantastic spot with the lake and beach right at your doorstep. Really friendly and helpful staff that put a lot of effort Into arranging fun events over the NYE period. Our puppy had the best time running up and down the beach and playing with the other dogs

Our first night could have been better, we were moved from one site to another though booked 2-3 months ahead We got a site but we were moved from there saying there is no power but some one later stayed on same site Anyway we were offered a new grass site which was a swamp due to rain last night, fully muddy, as the land was not set properly being new. We did set a camp, hard to get the pegs stable. After doing our set up around 8 pm we found out the site didn’t have power (This was frustrating). After hour staff was helpful and did a work around for us, but it was not fun spending an hour after long and tiring set up to fix it. Sunset on lake was great.

Excellently maintained and immaculately presented Park with the lake and the beach on each side. The amenities blocks are spotless and well designed. There is road noise as it's a narrow spit of land so not much they can do and it's gone by 10. The wifi on the beachside has got issues t though -and we were the only ones there. Worked fine on the other side of the road though
