If you're coming down to Wollongong, make sure you get off the Princes Highway and get out to the Bald Hill Lookout! This Lookout is amazing, with a fantastic high view of the Coast as you hit the gateway into Wollongong. You can see the amazing Sea Cliff Bridge just in the distance! There are cafe and vendors at this Lookout. However, please be careful when you walk down to get a closer shot of the view!

Fantastic view down the coast to the sea cliff bridge. Bald Hill is obviously a mecca for paragliders with no less than a dozen in sight. The Cafe was busy with a full car park of cars and bikes, many of whom were there for the amazing drive down the winding coast road and across the sea cliff bridge. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A very scenic view of hills and sea from one place. The road to the place is very nice. The place has wheel chair entrance and parking and clean restrooms. We went there with a friendly family and enjoyed a lot. I think public transport doesn’t operate to the place but I am not sure. There is train services to a nearby place. We visited the place during summer and liked it very much. Will suggest to visit the place with family.

A must see lookout if you are in and around Sydney! The drive is beautiful and the view is spectacular! We went in January on a weekend and the sky was full of hang gliders, just like kites! Was a beautiful sight. Hang gliding sure has been added to my to-do list now There is a lovely cafe and also a hotdog truck if you want to grab a bite with loads of options for ice cream

Went here with my friends on Wednesday. Great place for picnic, fantastic view of the ocean and hills. Wonderful place during sunset, calm and quiet. Loved it \u003c3

Definitely one of the highlights of my trip back to Sydney from Wollongong. The view is incredible and honestly makes you ponder about how inconsequential humans are on this planet. We are merely a speck on a massive globe, and seeing the ocean from here, and everything from this perspective is nutty. The view of the ocean takes up literally half your field of view, and it’s just super calming as well. There are also cute, lovely but cautious rosellas here that appear friendly. Please don’t give them bread. If you do, you are only contributing to their sickness and I’d like for you to wrestle with the gorgeous view. Besides the spectacular view, there is a cafe, and more importantly the most advanced public bathroom I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. The cafe was unfortunately closed when we got there but the bathroom was definitely the main event. Everything felt so futuristic and automated. I may be a simple plebeian but holy moly, the little extra touches add up. Playing music while you do your business, automatic flushing once you wash your hands to avoid flushing, automated doors, oh man. It was pretty messy when I got there though, likely due to the works of some careless bread feeders. It was a lovely experience overall and I had thoroughly enjoyed it.

View along coast, as well as coffee stop, and site for hang and para gliders. Good spot after Royal National Park scenic drive and link to any of 5 lookouts on Illawarra Escarpment.

My family and I loved Bald Hill Lookout and the extreme cliff without the fence I think is totally awesome. We had our young children there that we had to keep away from the edge (which was our problem) and putting that aside; it's a wonderful place. Being Easter as I write this review; the place was packed with everyone taking selfies and more. Great spot, love to go back there without the kids LOL (as much as I love them!).
