Tribal Village was everything I had hoped for and more. They have created a wonderful place where the culture and creativity of the African continent is honored and celebrated. The layout of the store is welcoming and is an absolute treasure trove of delights. I LOVE how Jazz knows the stories behind the pieces that she and Lawrence have so lovingly chosen. They know where it was bought, from whom, and the tribe it originated from. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful shop! It's like a Pandora's Box of unending discoveries. Browsing through the hundreds of items is finding one treasure after another. The traditional handmade artifacts from various African countries are so beautiful and colourful, great quality and workmanship. The personal attention of Tribal Village's owners mean that we get to learn about every item that they hand picked on their recent African trip, a real treat. One could get lost among the incredible beauty of the most wonderful Moroccan art, spellbinding!! I truly recommend this shop, it's a magical experience!

As well as wonderful home-wares they also sell African instruments. Lawrence had a set of genuine African djun djun shells which he skinned for me and as well as looking great they sound fantastic. He also threw in a pair of beaters. Definitely recommend you pop in and see Lawrence and Jazz.

OMG! I love this shop. Just did almost all my christmas shopping in one hit. Beautiful hand-made products from all over Africa. The wicker shopping baskets are sturdy and gorgeous. Each one made by hand using natural dyes. So much work has gone into them for such a reasonable price.
