Disappointed. Windows installed 10 years ago. Failed lifting mechanisms out of warranty - fair enough - but won't repair their own product on a fee for service basis. Unacceptable.
The most appalling service ever. Delivered windows and doors and dumped them in a Paddock with pending storm coming after being asked twice to leave the windows in the garage. Windows ended up being covered in dust and mud and damage. Cross bars on windows and doors were delivered with sticky tape still on them. 17 Doors were installed opening in even though they were shown on the plan to be opening out!! Doors were supplied with fly screens even though that was not what was ordered and not wanted. When we brought the error of the doors opening inwards they demanded final payment before they would discuss the issue any further, when we refused to pay they snuck out to the build site and removed all the doors on the job until we paid. When we started to talk to people around Orange about our dealings with Westal so many people had other horror stories similar to ours which included inferior products being supplied, sneaking on the job sites and removing windows and doors in lieu of negotiating a remedy to a problem. They never return phone calls or emails.
Used Westal twice so far. Good solid joinery, polite and helpful staff - delivery on time
