Overall: Awesome place to stay for a large group of friends & family Booked here with a group of 24 people - we ended up getting multiple 3 bedroom villas and 1 cabin. Booking and making requests was very easy as the staff at reception were responsive and tried to best to help get us good rooms. The accommodation itself was great. It was clean, spacious (especially in the villas) and updated (each room in the villa had air-conditioning). The villas nearer to the exit were more updated than the ones at the northern side of the tourist park. The park had lot of activities such as tennis, basketball and table tennis courts. Outside the park there wasn't too much to do, there were multiple parks nearby which was good and a timezone. The restaurant onsite was great, we ordered dinner here. The pizza they made was fast, had good service and also tasted great. The only thing maybe to note is that it was a little squishy having 4 adults in the room with 4 bunk beds, however it wasn't too much of a problem.

I absolutely love this place! The staff do such an amazing job!! For a relaxing time or just a quick trip, I highly recommend this place. As a side note if you are a family with someone who lives with autism please consider this park! They are so accommodating and helpful

Booked a specific site 12 months in advance so we could be close to camp kitchen and kids amenities, when we arrived we were given a site right at the back under the powerlines, was told we don’t guarantee sites, no apology or care, no phone call to let us know they had moved us so we could make a decision to cancel or change caravan parks. Next issue we paid 84 for family of 5 for buffet breakfast that runs from 7:30-10:30. Was expensive for kids at 15 each but though kids would enjoy it getting their own pancakes etc but then 10 minutes after we paid they had run out of pancakes, kids were so disappointed. Apparently the pancakes were just a special thing they do sometimes but 15 per child for cereal and toast not good value in my mind (I’m guessing most kids like ours don’t eat bacon and eggs). It’s a shame because it’s a nice park but let down by the little things.

Had a wonderful stay at Alivio. Extremely family friendly, there were a large variety of activities available. The pools and splash park were fantastic and our kids loved it. The food from the Verandah was delicious. Highly recommend the buffet breakfast, delicious and excellent value for money. The cabin was clean and fully functional. We really enjoyed our time, would happily return again and again.

Arrived for check in at 2.30pm. Told we could not check in until 3.30pm. Could not access fridge/freezer for goods purchased prior to arrival, however we could give it to staff. Asked for later check out and told "NO, check out is strictly by 10am". Explained we had left home at 7am with an 18 month old, 2 other children and 31 weeks pregnant and wanting to check in asap. Told it was too bad as they were full and housekeeping is hired out so it's not "their fault". Took no responsibility and was told "the managers gone home and I'm staying because it's busy".

I've known of this place for a number of years since moving away from Canberra, but since we have family there we've never had to find accommodation. Fast forward a number of years and two kids and suddenly 1spare room doesn't cut it, so we stayed here at the Alivio Tourist Park. It's an absolute gem. Nested right into the bush of O'Connor Ridge, it's obviously had owners that have invested into the facilities with a great pool/wet play and deck area, a decent looking restaurant (we didn't eat there), some excellent landscaping and play/eating areas, and some really well-appointed cabins. I'd definitely stay there again.
