Went with my Mum to buy some South African rand. For 2000 AUD we only got 17,500 rand. We asked what the fees were and were told there are no fees. Compared this to what the bank could offer. For 2000 AUD I could get 19,500 rand. This is a difference of nearly 200 aud. Do your research first, people.
