I've been coming here for almost 10 years now and love the quality of care provided! After having major hip surgery last year I've been seeing both Maddie and Darren to guide my rehab and they've gone above and beyond to help me get back to a functional level. The pilates/exercise classes have been great for me to do my rehab programs in clinic, and having a physio supervise the group classes has been a great help to ensure I'm doing my program correctly. I highly recommend Alphington Sports Med for any sports injury or rehab, all the physios are not only friendly but very knowledgeable and are able to explain things in a way that's easy for anyone to understand!

I persisted with treatment at this clinic for almost a year. Blood tests were missed or lost. My pain was not taken seriously. I was misdiagnosed. If you have a run of the mill sports injury, I am sure it's fine.

After injuring my shoulder at work, I was fortunate enough to have a friend recommend Julia Allan for physiotherapy. Over the past ten years I’ve seen a number of physios and almost always had limited success with their treatment. However, within the first 2 minutes of meeting Julia, I could tell I was getting a top-quality physiotherapist who would get me back to work and playing sport again. Julia is extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and is invested in getting the best for her patients. I couldn’t ask for a better physio and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I am happily running and fit after being treated by Sonya Moore for a grade 2 calf tear. She worked with me to get me back on my feet and giving me exercises to prevent the same thing happening in the future. I would have given Sonya 5 stars but she was running behind for every appointment and a couple of times it was significant. It was definitely worth the wait though.

Reasonable service, but overpriced for treatment time required

Charges far too much for all visits including 145 for the first and 90 for 2 subsequent visits one of which they did not have my results so was a waste of the 2 minutes i was in there and still charged 90.. sent for mri at aami to which i booked a bulk billed appointment and when i got there i was told i had to pay full price... mri was for my right hamstring only to save in costs but when i was told i needed to get guided injection the referral was only for the right and not both legs? So far i am over 500 out of pocket and not a bloody thing has been done yet... will try and fix this myself

I saw Namita Mehta for what I thought was a knee or quadriceps injury. She diagnosed the injury in about 10 mins to be hamstring-related and gave me a bunch of exercises to fix it. That was it, no follow up sessions trying to milk me for cash, just a simple diagnosis and some very clear direction on how to fix it. A few months later and my knee is fixed. Thanks Namita!

2 years ago I was training for a marathon. 6 weeks out I hurt my sacrum. However visited another Physio group and was told it was muscular. So kept running. 2 weeks out still in pain and was referred by local doctor to Alphington sports clinic. Unfortunately could not get appointment till after marathon but was put on waiting list. Got an appointment 2 days before marathon. Result fast tracked to MRI called with results 2 hours later- fracture over 1st 3 vertebrae in sacrum- no marathon no running for 8 months. Received fantastic support from clinic who advised me on alternatives during recovery. 8 months after diagnosis ran a half marathon. Thank you, sanity saved for one very happy runner.
