Overpriced food, waiting time for me was 30 min and food was average. I will definitely will not come back or recommend it. Customer service is close to non existent once you give them your money. I have approached multiple staff on 4 occasions politely asking if there is some mistake with my order where all of my colleagues already got their food as we been eating in but staff message was clear just wait. At the end I was ready to ask for money back when after 30 min they did not even start to cook my order but they managed to serve many takeways. Only because I enjoyed time with colleagues I waited for my food. For this kind of stuff ups other restaurants will give you a discount or offer free desert/drink but here I didn't get even sorry. Sorry but from my experience other Asian restaurants in the area with dishes way cheaper than here will offer you better customer experience and tastier food.

The food was nice (as usual), but the service was poor today. We arrived at 1.40pm for an eat-in lunch. However, we were told that they shut at 2.30pm, and were asked whether we'd like to takeaway instead. To oblige, I agreed, because they serve their food in takeaway containers anyway (even if you eat-in) and we could just walk over to the nearby food court to eat (which we did). While we were waiting for the food, I noticed that the Xiao Long Bao had been rung up at the standard price, rather than the advertised 50% discount if you takeaway (as we had now agreed to do). When I asked why we hadn't been given the advertised 50% discount for the Xiao Long Bao (amounting to a 3 discount), I was told that I had to ask for the discount when I ordered. I explained that an advertised special should just ring up at the special price, and not require a 'special request' (pardon the pun). I then read the T&Cs for the offer right in front of them and explained that there is no such condition. The guy serving the food was then consulted by the lady at the register, who also refused to remedy the situation. Worse still, he glared at me for an extended period without uttering a word! Ultimately, they called their manager, who agreed to provide me with the correct pricing and the 3 difference, but only after they had confirmed that I had spent about 50 on my order. Why was this so hard??? To end on a good note, the food was nice and we greatly enjoyed it. It's just such a shame that we had such a protracted and dogmatic debate with the staff to receive their advertised discounted price for four measly Xiao Long Bao!

I tried many options and food here is amazing. Being a vegetarian limited option but all options are very tasty and never miss ones. It's located inside Greenwood plaza beside escalator. Seating arrangement is nice. Please don't miss to try chilly sauce with vinegar and soy sauce. I had dumplings, noodles, truffle oil rice with mushrooms, stir fried spinach, spring roll and vegetarian bun. Must try place in North Sydney.

Consistently good quality food. The dumplings are delicious and always perfectly cooked. The stir fry black pepper beef is different to their other restaurants, using strips in lieu of cubes, with the cubes just that little bit more juicy and flavoursome. In such a confined area I would have hoped for proper plates and utensils the cardboard “plates” just aren’t the same and detract. It’s definitely a step above the normal Asian takeaway in quality and service and the price reflects this, so a rest rather than a daily experience.

Dumplings here are really good but a bit pricey. There is a window where you can see the preparation but this isn't a prooer restaurant as it's more of a food court style.

Always loved the pork & prawn wonton noodle soup from here. It's 12.90 so a little more expensive than some other places but the wontons are made fresh here. I always add a little chilli oil in to spice it up. It's also close to work in Greenwood Plaza so nice and convenient.

Expensive menu, poor service and dishes that truly fail to live up to the standard expected from Din Tai Fung. Much better options elsewhere in the area.
