I visited this beautiful place recently. The peace and quiet were shattered by the presence of 6 jet skis. They were right next to the observation deck. How are they allowed to foul these pristine waters? A totally disappointing visit.

One of the calmest and the prettiest places I’ve ever been.

Special place of immense cultural significance to us first nations people. It's best experienced on high tide. Whilst visiting try to remain as quite as possible to enjoy the bird life and pay respect to our ancestors and creation spirits. Also try to visualize our people utilizing capembah to add to your spiritual experience. Peace out

Awesome experience, walking behind the mangrove curtain and seeing what you can see.

Mayor’a Springs has the coolest and cleanest fresh water creek that meanders into a tidal creek. The beautiful shading trees makes this a special place. It has a walkway which provides easy access to this area while trying to protect it from the many visitors. It is a must see place as you explore Stradebroke
