North Stradbroke Island, Australia

We go here regularly and we love it. The only issues we have is that the beach is often littered with massive dead tree branches and stumps. It's dangerous to drive in some of these areas in case there's a tree stump under the sand that will puncture your tyres. The last time we were there (February 2021) the tides were very big and because of the tree debris on the beach at the Point Lookout end of the island we weren't able to leave the campsite that way as it was totally blocked off. We had to go all of the way around near the Amity exit.

First time camping on the beach Love it. Booking process simple and pick your spot and enjoy
Beautiful camp-site right near the beach. Toilets on some, no showers.
This place is heaven Crystal clear water blue sky what more could you want
Relaxing and not too busy for now . The calm before the storm ,that is Christmas holidays
Nice location but is becoming loved to death. Very busy on holidays and long weekends with a growing number of campers disregarding rules. Try to visit during week for best experience
A new favourite!
Perfect beach campground. Close to main services and shops, at the same time, you feel completely isolated.
