This is an unusual review, in that Landart are getting this review not because they did work for me, rather that they did work primarily for my neighbour. Consequently, this review is less about the quality of their work ( which did look good ), and more about the quality of their communication. I found all of their staff, not only courteous, but they actively sought to seek us out, and engage with us, whenever they came across any areas where we would be affected ( such of getting precise feedback about the height of the fence ). The biggest example was when they dug down for the fence, and realised there were issues with our sewer, and held up their works so we could evaluate it and get it fixed up. This was something that was common to all their people, and it looks like something Landart encourages as part of their company culture. I would like to single out some special praise for their site foreman(?) Matt. He worked as hard as anyone else, but you could see that he took the job of supporting his people seriously, and made sure all our questions were answered. It has been a pleasant and novel experience to not experience dread at the daily arrival of tradespeople at a neighbour.

We recently used Landart for a major transformation of our backyard, including a pool and home extension. The design and result is simply stunning. From start to finish Landart delivered on the concept and the professionalism shown by Matt and the boys was of the highest standard. We can't recommend them highly enough.
Three words. DONT USE THEM! We paid over 100k for landscaping. They filled the soil with builders waste and clay and plants never grew. The deck was appalling and faulty. Don’t believe all these positive reviews. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement!!
John and his team at Landart Landscapes recently completed a full makeover of our front and back gardens in Willoughby and they were amazing from start to finish. John was super professional to deal with, and their foreman Matt was one of the best project managers I have ever come across. All members of the Landart maintenance team we encountered were of a similar quality, always well mannered, hard working and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We love our new gardens, and we look forward to having you back to maintain it. Thank you!!
I would NEVER recommend Landart. I contacted the company mid January 2020 for a quote. I explained what was required, and given it was a courtyard job I asked whether this was in scope. Assured that it was, an appointment was made for Friday. After waiting for several hours (and taking time off work), John, the consultant, didn’t turn up. No call, no contact, no explanation. I called back to reschedule. John has forgotten and reschedules. John turns up on Monday and assured me this was something the company could do and would send a quote in ‘a couple of weeks’. After waiting a month, I emailed Landart. No response. I then called Landart and was told someone would call back. No one did. I called for what would be the final call. 3 MONTHS AFTER THE INITIAL CONSULTATION, I was told that they didn’t have time and the job was OUTSIDE THEIR SCOPE. Landart are shoddy and disorganised and TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. So would I recommend them? Not when they are a plethora of businesses who genuinely care about their clients.

We have used Landart for many years in maintaining our large garden. We have recommended them to many friends for their outstanding service, knowledge and expertise. Not only do they do what they say they are going to do, they turn up on time, and always provide knowledgable staff. John, who runs the maintenance division, draws on the design expertise in the rest of the business to suggest improvements over time, which has our place look amazing. I reckon they have added a lot of value to our home over the years and I highly recommend Landart.
We’ve recently used Landart for the design of our backyard / swimming pool and the overall process was pleasant. Both design and construction teams were cordial and committed and it resulted in an elegant landscape surpassing our expectations.
