I'm a professional theatre reviewer and most of my experiences here at New Theatre have been wonderful. Very friendly and helpful FOH staff and the stage itself is quite large with good seating options. I just think that it would be good to have an option for complimentary water at the bar as it's quite a walk from Newtown station and am often quite parched by the time I get there.

Very cute little theatre with really great shows. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the theatre is located near a lot of good bars, cafes and restaurants. Keep an eye out for shows being played there.
Lovely local theatre in Newtown. Watched a fantastic performance of Animal Farm this weekend. It's a great theatre space and definitely worth a visit. Social distancing all handled very well too. Drinks are available on site, which you can also take into the theatre. I'll be booking in to see the next show very soon!
Great, intimate theatre where you can see the actors' face close up. They always have quality productions with good casts and crews.

Amazing performances but really cranky bar people
A terrific little theatre with an excellent production quality for the numerous shows I have seen here. The intimate and cosy atmosphere just adds to the ambience and really connects you with the performers/actors. We just saw Animal Farm, the large ensemble produced an entertaining production. One of the great thing being situated in Newtown is the number of places to go pre or post theatre for a drink or a meal.
