Had left knee replacement 5 years ago from Dr Horsley which gave me back my active life. Excellent recovery and back to a normal life. Just had right hip replacement in December 2019. Again brilliant surgery by Dr Horsley and even in this short time of 4 weeks post surgery I’m incredibly positive about the future and recovery to a more active life style. Dr Horsley is not only a brilliant surgeon but an incredibly compassionate and caring professional. I’m truly lucky to have this doctor taking care of me. Ever great full and highly recommend Dr Horsley at Every opportunity.

My husband has had both knees replaced in the last 6 years by Dr Horsley and is 100% pain free, moves with agility , cycling over 150 kms a week and looks 20 years younger. Amazing results and has given this man a new life.Such expertise comes in this case as a package ..with kindness humour intelligence. Can never thank him enough.

Morton's Neuroma surgery: I'd had two steroid injections to the foot in the space of six months which didn't work and so surgery in September 2018 was a last resort. I wanted to wait a while before posting a review to see how my foot went over time and it's now been nine months post-Morton's Neuroma surgery and things are good. Obviously, having a nerve removed from your foot won't leave your foot ever feeling the same. There is a weird numbness to it, but I do little stretching exercises that help and sometimes I can actually still feel where the neuroma was if I step briefly onto a certain surface, but it is only an uncomfortable feeling and not painful. Importantly, my foot is pretty much pain free and I can slip into enclosed shoes and winter boots with chunky heels after three years of pain (2015 - 2018) and being reduced to wearing thongs everywhere. Occasionally I still get a weird pain if I wear shoes for prolonged periods but it's not all-consuming like it was and it disappears not long after taking the shoes off. Dr Horsley was thorough and informative about the procedure in his initial consultation and his kindness shone through when it came to overall care. He took the time to listen to your questions. His bedside manner was positive and encouraging and he focussed on pre-op education and post-op comfort. At one point I had reservations about the surgery while in pre-admissions and I rang him to express my doubts. He suggested I return to his office for a face-to-face consult, free of charge, instead of talking over the phone and though it was still my decision to go ahead with it he was reassuring and confident. He's been part of improving my daily quality of life in getting around and I couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommended doctor.
Dr Horsely operated on both of my feet ( done separately) to remove bunions. I was terrified about having the operation and took some time to contact the doctor. I went to Mark Horsley as he was recommended to me. My feet are, without boasting too much, perfect. I am back in heels and can wear any shoes I want. Mark's team is very experienced and the personally attention I got regarding the antithesis and the right mix for me personally was commendable. I was not in much pain only took basic pain killer for a few days. Don't put it off any longer call Mark's surgery and you will not be disappointed.
I have been a patient of Dr Horsley for more than 15 years. During this time, I have undergone two arthroscopies and two knee replacements. My most recent operation, a knee replacement, was in May, 2017 and I could not be happier with my treatment and the results. Most importantly for me, I was treated as an adult person and not a number. All my questions (and there were many) were answered comprehensively, compassionately and honestly. Whatever time was needed for a consultation was always given and I have always left the surgery a better informed and better prepared patient. For my procedures, I have been under the care of Dr Horsley and his team which included Dr Michael Amos (anaesthetic services) and Dr Lorang (assistant doctor). This team has years of experience and a strong and positive working relationship and I believe this is an added bonus for those who undergo surgical procedures. His administration team has been efficient, courteous and always helpful. I have seen Dr Horsley as a private patient and recommended him to friends. They, too, have experienced the same caring as I. In addition, I have friends who have seen Dr Horsley as public patients and their experience has been as positive in the public system as it has been in the private. I feel confident in Dr Horsley's skills as a surgeon. I feel comfortable in Dr Horsley's skills as a communicator. I feel happy to recommend him to others.
Dr Horsley (Mark) has operated on all my parts of my body and his Kind,Gentle nature along with his Excellent expertese on all facets of the human body are incredible. His team both at QE11 and RNSPrivate Hospital are second to none. If anyone needed to have any surgery done I would recommend Him Highly. I have been his patient for over 20yrs him dealing with my body to try to help me have a better quality of Life and that is what we are really after.
