Great place for gems, fossils, and geology generally. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful, and the shop is well-stocked with even quite unusual samples prices ranging from less than 5, to 5,000 for some specimens, so you'll probably find something to your budget. If you're looking for stones or gems in Newtown, definitely worth a visit.

Awesomely helpful staff and beautifully displayed crystals
I was in the shop yesterday searching for obsidian for a Minecraft obsessed kid and the most lovely ever person helped me find the perfect items. The little boy loved them all. I also very much enjoyed the Bowie chat haha! Thank you so much.
Met smiling Robert and lovely Di circa 2015. Purchased a pyramid shaped, Himalayan Salt Lamp for 60 Aus dollars and the light continues to follow myself, by my side, each time I feel lonely I switch it on and the effect is incredible. I've visited other , rock, fossil stores and have never seen another pyramid shaped Himalayan salt lamp!! Sadly, I lost faith in my god and destiny,troubles and distance, separated we 3. Great rock, fossil and antiquities store. I miss the big dinosaur fossils but great collection of small to mid size pieces.
You will fine appropriately prices fossils and mineral formations here of a rare and exquisite quality. It is by far one of the BEST shops in this category that I have found so far, anywhere. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have great gift ideas for anyone interested in these sorts of things, and of any age.
