Drinks are a bit expensive for what your paying for. Atmosphere average.. food it's ok not great.
Its a nice bar and rather popular. The service staff are pretty good too. The food is nice but perhaps a bit much for what it is. American fast food is cheap and nasty no matter how well you prepare it so 12 bucks for a hotdog is just a bit much. Certainly worth a visit if in the area though.
This has to be one of the best bar & food spots in Newstead. We had a work lunch gig with a dozen people, every dish was a winner and all served up in well under 10 minutes. No wonder the place is full on a Sunday afternoon!
Standard pub food. Great to see the QR code ordering system available here. Hoping they'll have live entertainment back again at some stage I found the drinks pretty expensive. Great location to pre drink or start your night off Customer service from waiters and bar staff were great.
Don't let the name fool you, this is a casual and relaxed eatery! Very comfortable with good food.
Really enjoyed the food here. I have been here twice now, food was very tasty. Great burgers and yummy sweet potato fries! Great spot and good service.
Food was good, drinks fair priced. No dishes with duck in them, I guess that's the 'Defiant' part. 4 out of 5 for the laughs
