We went there to swap the jacket we purchased in Sydney. The staff were very friendly and very professional. There was a confusion about the price difference but they clarified it being very calm and very professional. Also, they appolised for the mess that was created due to another staff in Sydney. Overall, it was nice experience.

I’m about to embark on my first long 6 day hike and have ventured into several Macpac stores looking for the right backpack and boots and today I visited the Newcastle store and was served by Sara who went above and beyond she was so informative and helpful what an asset to the Macpac brand. A good range of clothing for the great outdoors. Was there for there winter sales, got a down jacket and the staff was really helpful and the prices was really competitive as well. Definitely a store to go get your winter jackets.

Wow these guys know there stuff. New to hiking or want to test your knowledge on the best gear? You’ve now met your match, these guys are incredible. It might be a little more expensive but when you learn why quality is so important you’ll quickly realize that it’s priced pretty fairly. The fella on Saturday customized a jacket shell with a fleece and went out of his way to source the sizes that the store didn’t have! Thanks mate, proper legend!
