Beautiful location for the family, or a nice walk with your partner through the reserve. Lots of cool animals to spot!

A great place to chill with family and friends. Picnic and bbq, both wood and gas, amazing play areas for the kids and plenty of free space to kick a footy or play a game of backyard cricket. But beware to wildlife don't take off with your snags

We were visiting this beautiful reserve with our toddler when it started to rain, so we hide and wait to stop. Unfortunately we didn't know that the Reserve is open until 7PM so we got locked (with the car) inside the Reserve. We had luck that man from a council came and open the ramp for us. Thank you for that

Great park, pleanty of BBQ and lots of seating. It is a short walk to the car park though. Will definitely be visiting again.

Location is top notch, love the wild life and quiet in the middle of suburbia. The kookaburras will literally take the food off your plate. The kids play ground could be improved: there is too much bark just thrown around, saw 3 kids slip and fall. The sand stone blocks are stupid as no kid can raise their legs that high and i saw at least 2 injuries from falling up or down them and the steep slope with hand holds was skined knee central. Pack a first aid kit.

Great, amazing playground, huge carpark, beautiful walking tracks. A Newcastle treasure.

A lovely and spacious nature reserve that takes playground and bush regeneration seriously. An impressive and modern array of children's equipment and climbing ropes, as well as a walking circuit for those wanting to explore more of the natural wildlife. The plaques along the way explaining the flora and fauna was helpful too, as well as a quick drive to Westfield's.

Great picnic spot with lots of undercover seating and bbqs. Large playground for kids of all ages
