Advertises OFF-STREET parking - there's none! Was assured on phone disabled access and parking off-street was available - Disabled access - tiniest doorway ever, gradient on ramp so steep the chair tips back, so NO ACCESS into shop, they wanted to hold the consultation ON THE FOOTPATH, I was MISINFORMED ON MANY THINGS, don't go there unless you are an able-bodied person as you cannot get a park where a wheelchair can be safely unloaded SHOP NOT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIR BOUND CUSTOMERS

I LOVE, ABSOLUTELY LOVE this shoe! Attractive wide shoes are hard to find, especially in a style that is ideal for every day use.I required something attractive, yet easy to put on, looks ok with socks and can be worn to work and to dressier events. While I hated to spend this kind of money on a shoe, I thought this one could be great. We ordered it in the jazzy pewter colour. If you require a very sturdy well made shoe that are super comfortable, then this is the shoe for you!

I purchased a Rose double wide fitting and it's the only place in Newcastle you can find stylish wide shoes. My feet swell every day and staff asked were so helpful and let me try a number of shoes that best suit my feet problem. I have suggested them to all my friends now. After a week on the shoes they are so easy be on all day I walk easy an hour a day and they work well. Rhonda

I decided to spurge and but myself a nice pair of shoes for work. I now realise what I have been missing! These shoes are comfortable even after 10-12 hour shifts with probably 75% of my time spent on my feet. Great looking. I am ordering a second pair in black. Looks great with my work apparel and even my jeans

Today I visited Barefoot Freedom with my daughter. We were delisted with their knowledge of my foot condition. I bought a pair of sandals which proved to be the most comfortable ever price was very reasonable for a quality orthopaedic sandal styles in store were great and good renege my daughter was so impressed with the staff I highly recommend this store one of the best in Newcastle I haven't seen any store who know what my foot problems are by examining and taking time to fit me.

A friend got me to try this shoe as he was also diabetic and said it was the best shoe he had found. I did try it and found it to be true to his recommendation. I preferred the strap model to the lace up as the lace up always seemed to come untied on a regular basis. The velcro straps hold and do not come lose. I have been very pleased with the first pair I purchased got and wore them and wore them until they were looking pretty scruffy – I left 100 deposit to get the new pair ordered they came right on time within a week and I wore them in the house the first day and was very pleased with them. The Barefoot Freedom footwear I got is a stylist athletic shoe, comfortable and is easy on my feet. I would recommend these to anyone. The staff and ordering of shoes for my special need was simple.
