Received a canned response email. Wanted a 165 fee for their service and it seemed an "upfront" fee the way the email was worded. Then email went on to say not to use their service if I was going to question/compare the prices they were going to offer. Of course I'm going to question it. That's the whole reason to use a broker, is to get the best price possible. If they are too scared to give you a price that you may compare it to make sure you are getting the best deal, then that broker ISN'T getting you the best deal. Ended up taking my business to another broker that wasn't afraid that I was going to question their price or possibly see if someone could do better. Edit: Happy to have Google look into this review, James. I have email here where it shows your company contacted me after I left an inquiry on your website and also my response to your "canned" email. Happy to pass this email onto the Google review team. For the record, the "other broker" I used was able to find me the car I wanted at well under retail prices, didn't charge me a "165 service fee" and I am now happily enjoying my new car.
The service and professionalism that Car Helper offers is first class. I have now used Car Helper for private and commercial use and could not recommend them highly enough. If you are time poor, like me, and still want a great deal on a vehicle....you should get in touch with them. Thanks

I contacted James at carhelper to find me a car with very limited availability – a Mazda CX-5 in a specific grade and colour – in time for the EOFY. With only a few business days to go, James worked quickly to find a car and arrange a discount of 3916 compared with the price my local dealer had quoted us. I had my new car by June 30 and James even managed to get me an extra 1000 for my trade-in. Taking into account the very reasonable service cost of 165, I ended up 4751 better off – and the best part was I didn’t have to do any of the hard work to make it all happen. Highly recommended!!
James Whitbourn was my ‘car helper’ and he was simply fantastic. He offered me the best service, advice respect and care every step of the way. James helped me buy a new Honda HRV. He did all the heavy lifting with the dealers to get the best price possible, and worked around the clock, even Sunday, to make sure it happened as quickly as possible. Can't recommend him highly enough.
