I was told after using methotrexate for many years to stop and visit the doctor soon as possible I did that visited and the doctor I was suppose to see was not there. Andrew Taylor was told me keep using the tablets it was a junior doctor that was called me and was panicking for nothing as my blood reading had been spiking for year never And my liver is a bit angry (had a scan it's still ok) asked how do you feel even I was in a lot of pain. Now since I stopped the RA has accelerated terrible pain can hardly walk hands are so bad can't hold on to anything. Went down on to the ground walking to the shop as my car broke down some stranger got me back home. So what do I do now . I say about Andrew Taylor non committal has not got any compassion and should teach his junior Doctors to liaison before they contact the patient to stop medication. Not taking away the lovely care of the junior Doctor she cared enough at least to worry. Point is The RA IS SO BAD NOW I CAN BARELY WALK ((( Is that the way my life will be Mr Taylor remember I said I don't want to live until 92 with all that I have you made me feel I should be grateful))) Johanna Oppelaar

I am so thrilled to finally have a name, and treatment, for my painful condition. After almost a year of being in constant pain, unable to get out of bed by myself, or dress myself, or do my hair, taking my blood results , I made an appointment with Dr. Andrew Taylor. After listening to my symptoms, and seeing my limited movements, he told me I have Polymyalgia, an auto immune disease. After only 4 days of treatment , I felt so much better. After 10 days, I was pain free, and could move my body freely, with no pain. To have a name for my pain, was a relief, but to be pain free was like a miracle. 7 weeks later, I've almost forgotten how desperate I was feeling at that time. I can't thank Dr. Andrew enough. I highly recommend him. Rosemary Sherriffs

I have been seeing Dr Taylor for over 10 years, and he is excellent. I have RA and have had one hip replacement, and may need another. He is always spot on with medication. I wasn't able to walk 10 years ago, and he got the medication right so i could continue to become a mum. I am still seeing Dr Taylor and also work in aged care, and would highly recommend his services.

I have found Dr Taylor to be an extremely thorough, knowledgeable and professional doctor. My joint issues have been completely taken care of, as well as blood and scan investigation bringing up a gynocalogical issue I was totally unaware of (which needed attending to). I have no idea who the negative reviews come from - they must have seen a different doctor to me!

Deserves -5 stars. Taylor w as so arrogant and dismissive of me stating I o nly had osteo arthritis, it was normal for a woman at my stave of life, lose weight and get over it. I made the mistake of going back a 2nd time with a list of symptoms and he repeated the same again. I have since found another rheumatologist who thinks I have early stages Psoriatic Arthritis and has requested further tests. Unlike Taylor who stated my pathology is normal, this new rheumy sees a lot of red. He was very interested in Taylor's views which appears very different from his own. Also Taylor missed picking the Baker's Cyst on my knee. Surely it's not hard to pick when he is feeling my joints, my GP had no issue on his first assessment. Don't waste ypur money with tbis arrogant person.

Seen Dr Taylor last year. Don't recommend at all. I found him quite rude and dismissive, saying that it was my "posture" causing my constant joint pain. I literally went home and balled my eye's. Recent tests performed confirmed I need to see another rheumatologist. If you want to waste 500 see this man. I definitely won't be seeing him again that's for sure.

My problems had been getting worse for seven years. Luckily I moved interstate and found Dr Andrew Taylor. He investigated my issues and with the new treatment I have been trouble free for two years when previously I had been resigned to living in pain for the duration. I am lucky to have found him.
