PRINT - BYRON SHIRE ECHO The Byron Shire Echo is a fiercely independent free weekly newspaper published every Tuesday. It is distributed throughout the coastal region and the hinterland of Byron Shire in New South Wales, and outside the Shire in Lennox Head and there are also bulk drops from Ballina to Coolangatta. Its current distribution is 23,200 copies pw (CAB audited). ONLINE - ECHONETDAILY In August 2011 we also started the free daily online newspaper EchoNetDaily. (see www.echonetdaily.net.au). The EchoNetDaily uses an innovative online format, and is emailed to subscribers each day. It is a separate newspaper to the print Echo (although it does use some of the same stories) and covers the region from Ballina to Lismore to Coolangatta. Subscription is free. The Echo's two publications are recognised as the leading print and online publications in the area from Ballina to Coolangatta.
