Generally poorly managed construction site, rubbish on roadway and nature strips that is derived from the construction. Cross overs are left with rubbish and rubble that are a pedestrian hazard. Wouldn't be difficult for the PM to ensure that these were clean and rubbish was secured even once or twice a week. Contractors don't have respect for actual residents of streets, really shows lack of leadership and what a cowboy outfit Carter Grange are. Poor management will likely reflect on the building quality

Go on, build with someone else, I dare you! CG will always be there for you, even years down the track and long after other builders would have wiped you. I dare you!

Up until now, we've been respectful and kept our feedback confidentially between us and Carter Grange. However, it seems respect is a one way street in this relationship. Instead, we've experienced lies and a total lack of respect. There are many examples of this since the start of the project however, I'll use one as a case in point. We discovered a leak in one of our bedrooms before the plaster went on, and we asked Carter Grange to fix it. They assured us they would. Then, they plastered over the leak. The plaster board was covered with water damage from the water leaking down the wall so we asked them to replace the plaster and insulation so we didn't have mushrooms growing in our walls. They promised to do it. In fact, they told us they'd tested it and it was all fixed. Now, they've painted over the water damage and guess what, the leak still isn't fixed. Our supervisor says he doesn't want to hold up the build to fix the leak. This is a threat to say "if we don't finish the build on time, it will be your fault". Really? Are we unreasonable customers to expect you to fix a water leak that's running down the walls? This has been going on for about 3 months and there is STILL water running down the walls. We've even tried escalating the issue to our supervisor's boss but he doesn't answer our phone calls. We have a list of other unresolved issues too but no one gives us an update. So yes, so any prospective customers out there, you too can discover the Carter Grange difference!

In the current environment many of us are working and studying from home. However the Carter Grange mob working next door to me at the moment are a disrespectful bunch who don't think the rules apply to them (no one is wearing a face mask - do they think they are immune?) and repeatedly ignore requests to turn down music. "We have to have it loud to hear over our ear protectors"?!

We have now lived in our Carter Grange home for 2 months and we couldn’t be happier! Throughout the process including sales, design and the build itself we felt that we were updated and informed on all matters and generally felt as though we were being dealt with transparently and fairly. In regards to customer service and support it’s 6-stars! In our Carter Grange experience there were really only very few issues that arose during the whole process. In hindsight these were pretty minor, and we always felt that we were being listened to and responded to promptly. 99% of the time it was very smooth sailing. The 1% of issues were resolved quickly and easily. That for me, made all the difference. I think you need to be realistic about construction and that not everything will go according to plan. It’s how a company can respond to these items that separates them from the rest. I can’t fault the workmanship or build quality. In one employee’s (I won’t name them) words “we wouldn’t build a home that we, ourselves, wouldn’t be proud to live in”. I really feel that Carter Grange did, and continue to do, everything they can to ensure they have happy clients. We felt that Carter Grange dealt with integrity and honesty throughout. Ultimately, the end result speaks for itself and everyone who has visited the homes has only praise to give.

We commenced our build with Carter Grange in 2017. The house was finished in March 2018. Total time to build a circa 50 square home was 10 months. There were a few issues during and after the build however all issues were rectified. During the build we had David Leinhors as our Building Manager. He was fantastic. We have been extremely impressed with the maintenance period. Roy and Marty Carson were fantastic during this period and attended to every issue. Marty was structured, organised and above all very professional. A very nice guy. We highly recommend Carter Grange.
