Positives: They sell school uniforms - good quality at that. They have a few shops. Negatives: Too many. Most reviews here are true. My thoughts here are as a casual observer at PSW Mt Waverley - been there three times on separate occasions (same shop each time). "Different" people are treated differently here for sure. Who the "different" people are we all know. Who treats them "differently" - we know that as well. The behaviour by most staff is condescending, judgmental and discriminatory. List goes on and on - too many to list here. As a shopper - few uniform sizes were not available at this store, booked and paid in advance. One month, no uniforms arrived. Went to the store - those sizes were hanging on the shelves!! So, you pay in advance and your order is not packed and kept away. No apologies. Just the usual "we do not have it in stock". No attempt to make amends, no home delivery. Email replies from customer service can take weeks to get a response from and then again, the usual - we do not have it in stock. Period. Funnily, this is just a uniform business (they do not sell anything else) and yet they are not able to plan for stock, COVID or not!! I now have started buying used clothes (which I don't do usually) just to avoid giving them business. To PSW: Wake up and smell the coffee - it's 2021 in a world full of "colourful human beings". Try a bit to make the world a better place, it's not too hard. To competitors of PSW: read the reviews and you have an easy chance to takeover this "monopolized" uniform business.

When I was in store today and a customer explained they were going to "leave a bad review" as they exited the store, I thought I would follow suit. It isn't hard to see why this store has so many bad reviews - customers want to snapshot a moment in time they felt wronged, which I can understand. It is frustrating when something isn't in stock or human error plays a roll, but the people who work here are performing a role in a company and I don't think these "bad reviews" are actually reflecting the experience that 90% of other customers have. Every time I have entered the store I have been greeted by staff, asked if I need help and checked on numerous times with my sons. If something isn't available I have been explained the exact process for getting it back in stock and kept in the loop. I have been provided alternative options to with uniform items to help with one of my boys' eczema. It's not rudeness that I saw when staff explained store policy to the customer today or why they had come to the decision they did, but perhaps it exists in the reviews that are quick to tell one side of the story and not the whole truth? Despite the customer's frustration today I never saw the staff member stop being courteous not only to the customer, but to every other customer they served. I remember working customer service when I was younger - it's rough being the face of store policy. I just wish customers were quicker to show gratitude where gratitude is due.

Busy place. Yet, staff are very friendly and helpful.

I was dreading going to this shop with my child after reading so many negative reviews. However the staff who are young and all female could not be more helpful, attentive, friendly and polite. We were in and out within one hour and that includes trying on school uniform items. I've also seen comments on their pricing, school uniforms are usually expensive anyway.

Bad customer service. My granddaughter got her school bag last year ( due to covid it was hardly used) and after 3 weeks this year the strap broke. Took it back, they examined it and said it looked too used so there was nothing they could do. Had to pay 30 for the bootmaker too fix it.

Please fix your automatic front door asap, it's not convenient for customer to open and close it manually especially when with the kids and it's not supposed to work like that. The staff in register is rude and not helpful. If we have other choice, we will definitely not go there.

Slow checkout, took me more time to pay rather than picking up my school needs.

Miss yr 8s bag broke. Considering she hardly used it last year due to COVID-19 the bag hasn't even lasted a school year. Took it back to ask for it to be swapped or repaired and was told it's been used too much and nothing they could do. Terrible service and a place where you have no choice to buy uniforms from.
