We moved our daughter here in grade five from another local school she had attended since kinder. This has been the best move we ever made for her. The school is a vibrant and happy place. The children are taught respect and are given boundaries for behaviour. The staff are exceptional and enthusiastic. They are genuinely interested in education and the kids as opposed to it just being a job. The principal team are professional, approachable and lead by example which is reflected in the students behaviour. They are exceptionally knowledgeable, and experienced. The staff in the school office are welcoming, kind and go above and beyond to help parents and the kids. The methods of teaching and in particular the approach to teaching English is far more up to date than other schools with more focus on understanding spelling rules and sounds instead of learning spelling words by memory. MWNPS is an exceptional school with an inclusive community , our only regret is not moving our daughter earlier .

It was an ok school. There was people who were very mean and bulled one of my best friends. There teachers there are kind and caring. But they not really help u if u need it they kinder just help but they not do anything else. They just do the same thing again and again. But I did find friends who are going to be my bff and some of the teachers are so kind and are sure good people. I think there is a better school out there.

Our children are through Primary School but have seen the principal, Natalie Grieve, on the Exec Team at a different school and she was exceptional.

MTWN is absolutely outstanding. Naplan academic success, multicultural/ social inclusiveness for all, fantastic sporting activities, excursions & camps. From the onset, the staff are true professionals, who really understand all aspects of education to achieve the best outcome for each child. I am delighted daily with the wonderful activities & academic challenges our children are supported to achieve. We are all so happy.

My granddaughter attends this school. Couldn't be more grateful to the head mistress, teachers and admin staff. They are just wonderful. Thank you all.

All three of our children attended MWNPS and it was fantastic. It is a beautiful little community and the teaching staff are second to none. Each child is valued and the school community encompasses the whole family, not just the students. Our youngest is now in High School and I miss being a part of the MWNPS community. Our children thrived there.

Small school with a great community. My kids love it here! We chose this school after much careful consideration even though it is a lot further drive than many other schools. The classrooms are open planned with special wet areas so the students can do art and science work in the same classroom as everything else. They also have all relevant library material in the centre of each class so no need to leave room to access the library. Relaxation areas with beanbags in one corner of the class, team building and workshop desks in another, smart boards and desks so students work together make their approach to learning very appealing. The teachers are very encouraging and helpful, in fact they tailor the learning experience to the child by finding out what interests the student has and making the subject suit. The community aspect is very rare for a city school in that they actively engage with parents and encourage cleaning bees, get assistance in class, help with general maintenance and host afternoons to meet other parents. Makes this school inclusive and a feeling of giving back to your school and community.
