We approached Brittni from Hicks Oakley to look after the conveyancing work for our first home purchase shortly after having bought the place at auction. Being our first home, we were not too sure what to expect and what we needed to do but we did want it to be seamless with things falling in line when they were expected to. That is very much what we got! We did not get frequent updates (not that we were expecting to) but it was evident from the few updates we did receive that there was work being done in the background. Settlement also happened seamlessly as it was very clear to us what paperwork would have to be arranged prior (which we did). All in all, positive outcome and positive experience!

Appalling customer service and follow up - had to chase our solicitor numerous times for well over a month in regards to the purchase/settlement. There is no return phone calls, or letters or emails when they say they are going to contact you. Due to their inability to do their job we going to now miss settlement date and have no idea what is going to happen. DO NOT USE!
