I had great fun at Rikki's cooking classes. Great way to meet new people and bond over a shared cooking and eating experience. And I can't get ove r Rikki's exuberance and energy! She obviously genuinely loves what she does. I've done two of these classes and can't wait for the third. It's not just the recipes: the practical tips are invaluable. Whoever heard of cutting an onion without tears? It can be done: just ask Rikki!

The first time I went here was for a vegetarian class. Rikki taught the class and she did a great job of showing the class how to cook individual meals so we could then bring the meals together to eat and share at the end. It can feel a little hectic at some points from the chef wanting to control all the individual 6-8 dishes being cooked at once, but it’s all worth it to then you sit and eat calmly afterwards. I learnt a lot about the individual foods and whether they’re good sources of protein or how to cook stuff properly. I really believe that class was a great learning experience. The second time I went was for a Ramen class, which was taught by a different chef, but this lady was really good with banter and having a laugh with the class, and it was still a great time. That time round it was more listening and having fun at the same time. But again, the food was amazing, and this time we all helped prepare our condiments but everyone was doing the same thing. So you can never expect two classes to go down the same, but you do know the food always tastes great, and you learnt something along the way. Fun, quirky, never the same, so you may as well give this place a try.

I did the Spanish paella and churros cooking class with Riki, and wow it was a fantastic night! I was hesitant as I was doing the class by myself but Riki made the atmosphere in in the classroom just so comfortable and inviting. She really gets everyone involved and you can tell she just loves what she does! Oh, and the food was amazing of course! I can honestly say I loved it and will definitely do it again. Thanks heaps.

A wonderful experience with Riki taking part in the French Cuisine cooking class. Riki gave us simple techniques to maximise flavour, creating a beautifully rustic French menu which was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend her and her cooking studio enough. I am looking forward to trying all the cuisines on offer at this quaint little cooking school. See you again soon!

We attended the knife skills workshop and it was amazing!!! Riki is so lovely and has so much knowledge and skills to share. She made the class enjoyable and also very useful. After her demo of chopping we cut up fruit to make a fruit salad and vegetables and Riki made us a minestrone soup. The best minestrone I’ve ever eaten. The kitchen is so nice too, cannot recommend this class more!!
