Great well maintained mountain bike trails to suit all level of riders.
A place which would be so much better if the trials were more friendly to walkers and hikers. It is disappointing to see so much damaged areas of forest where numerous biking trails have compacted the earth in areas. It is a pity that the Brisbane City Council cannot regulate off track biking that is causing so much destruction to the bush. State forest needs to be managed in a way that ensures access to all.
What a beautiful entrance to Mt Coot-tha forest. So many awesome tracks to explore & so close to Kenmore/Chapel Hills.
Stopped in for quick spin on the MTB on the way home, some great trails, but be prepared for some very steep climbs.
Love riding my MTB here. Rarely see walkers on the bike only trails. The facilities at the base are great. Very handy to have toilets and drinking water available
Did the frog trail, it was epic. Some parts are full on, downhill dips and jumps. Will try do a new trail every few days. Daisy hill is also a great spot. Park in car park across the road much easier to see and get in and out from.
