On a Sunday afternoon, I was strolling around and wanted to find a place to learn how to ride a horse. I came to Papillion first. There were very few staff members there. One of them was grooming a horse. I attempted saying “excuse me” and I know she heard me since she looked at me. But she didn’t say a word, she utterly and completely ignored me and continued grooming the white horse. Then I went to a tiny cubicle next to the main entrance, there was an old lady in it. I said “excuse me” to her. She did say something but I couldn’t hear since she was playing something loud on the computer. All I know was she shook her head and went back to the computer. Honestly I have never seen such terrible service and I would recommend Eastside Horse Riding Academy way more.

I was looking for a place to learn how to ride a horse. I came across Papillion and wanted to check it out. Honestly the service was just TERRIBLE. There were only about 2 staff members there. One of them was grooming a horse and when I attempted to say “excuse me” she looked at me and ignored me. Then I went to the tiny cubicle and saw an old lady . I said “excuse me” and I couldn’t hear her she was playing something very loud on the computer. All I know is that she shook her head and didn’t do anything. I would much more recommend Eastside Stables, the place next to Papillion. They have much better service and I would rather go there.

My 8 yr old daughter was gifted a few lessons and had her first one today. She has been on a horse before but for some reason got very nervous today. Her instructor, Julia, was so calm and reassuring and the horse was incredible. The horse ended up just standing still for our 30 min lesson while my daughter patted it and asked questions and ended up sitting in the saddle for a photo. Julia never made us feel rushed or frustrated. Fingers crossed next week we get out of the stables.

I took my first ever riding lesson at Papillon and I enjoyed it very much. The coach really adapted to my beginner's level and explained me the basics, it made me want to learn more and get into riding. The horse was also lovely and beautiful. would highly recommend.

My 10 year old daughter Maia was given a stable day for her birthday at Papillion. She told me it was the best birthday present she has ever gotten!! The staff were amazing and attentive and she got to spend quality time with a lovely horse. She is hooked and I need to look into getting her lessons but only at this stables:) A fantastic day thanks to the lovely people. Thanks!!!!

Such a lovely staff! They make riding so enjoyable and I have learned so much with them. The stable is very well looked after, and I always look forward to coming here - the highlight of my day \u003c3

Have been riding with Papilion for the last few years and it’s great! The coaches are wonderful teachers and the horses are clearly loved and very well looked after. Riding mornings are my favourite mornings of the week

Do not book a pony ride here for your child!! We took our 3 year old daughter and they put her on the pony and marched her around the block a few times and the lady leading her didn’t speak a word to her! Then charged 70 at the end. Wow. You’d think for a 70 30 min ride there would be a little bit of conversation, or at the very least telling the children what the ponies name is.
